Elegant. Luxurious. Modern. These are not words that come to mind when you hear "lodge" but the Grace Anne II Lodge isn't like most lodges. Though surrounded by the wilderness of Lake of the Woods on a remote island, the Grace Anne II Lodge has all of the conveniences of a modern resort.

 

Renovations Underway

Ongoing extensive renovations to the resort's interior feature an upgraded kitchen, expanded rooms, and a state of the art meeting/entertainment room. Once our transformation is complete, we will show you all of the incredible details that make the Grace Anne II Lodge truly unique.

Exquisite Fine Dining

Our Executive Chefs prepare gourmet meals to suit every event and taste. Each expertly prepared meal is presented as a work of art and all menus are custom designed with our guests input, tastes and preferences taken into consideration. Simultaneously, our private chefs will delight you and satisfy even the most discerning inner food critic. A list of possible daily menus are below but please remember, customizing the dining experience to suit our guests is one of the hallmarks of the Grace Anne II Lodge that make this a truly luxurious, all-inclusive, resort experience in the wild.

 

Special Requests

Our Chefs can accommodate any special dietary requirements for our guests. Attention has been given to provide at least one item that meets low fat, low sodium; low cholesterol requirements for those who wish to watch their daily intake, as rich sauces accompany many of the other menu choices. Daily selections of fresh vegetables and fruits vary with the season. Family style dinners, such as roast turkey, prime rib, or crown roast of pork are also available upon request.

 

Rise and Shine

Each morning at the Grace Anne II Lodge begins with freshly baked croissants, muffins or sweet rolls, accompanied by a cup of freshly ground mountain blend coffee or freshly squeezed orange juice. The breakfast menu includes something for everyone, including eggs benedict, toasted bagels, Spanish omelettes, and deluxe French toast, hearty Canadian bacon, sausages and delicious fresh fruit can round out your menu. 

 

Wine and Spirits

Our wine steward takes his suggestions for his guests quite seriously. An expanded climate controlled wine room and an extensive selection of fine spirits have delighted many guests.

 

Mid-day Delights

Lunch may includes soup made from scratch by our chefs and a deluxe sandwich; a light dessert is also served. Or enjoy the rustic tradition of the shore lunch. The guide staff prepares fresh-caught walleye, potatoes, beans, corn and relish garnish over an open fire at the shore lunch shelter. Picnic lunches are available instead of shore lunch, if you wish.

 

Enchanting Evenings

Dinner is time for our chefs to shine, offering a variety of full-course, gourmet meals from which to choose. Daily menu changes ensure a wide selection of meats, fowl, seafood or fish and low fat items throughout your stay.  

Our chefs have created special menus for fall hunting trips, which provide the option of heartier, home-style meals that will satisfy even the most voracious appetite after a day in the blind.

The Grounds

The Grace Anne II Lodge is situated on a 5 mile long island. the Grace Anne II Lodge is the only development on the island, its grounds encompassing 22 acres of the 50 acres of the property. Your party will enjoy exclusive use of this island and all amenities at the lodge - the entire lodge is for your party's use only.

There are many groomed gentle walking paths on the island you can take or you can sit on the deck and watch the life on the lake in the morning sun.

 

Gazebo

Hidden in the trees but located only 100 short steps away is the cedar, timber framed gazebo. Situated as far out on the point as possible, the gazebo offers a 360 degree view of Turtle Bay. A cedar chipped path takes you from the Grace Anne II Lodge to the gazebo area where you can enjoy the view, a book, a cocktail, or later in the evening, a crackling fire in the stone fire pit. Copper clad, screened windows allow you to control the temperature to exactly where you want it. On cooler days, a propane heater provides additional comfort and enjoy the relaxing beauty of Turtle Bay.
