Welcome
The scent of mahogany is in the air! Maintenance season on the
Grace Anne II has begun once again, as it has every winter for
the past 76 years. Although the temperature has not risen above
-20 Celcius for the past 4 weeks, we know that warm, sunny days and open
water are not too far away and Grace Anne II will slip out of
her berth in the middle of May in all of her polished splendor.
Salisbury's team including Captain Patrick, Chef Nicky, Head
Guide Paul, Guest Relations Manager Bonnie and myself are all looking forward to another great
season in our corner of Lake of the Woods. Many of our staff are
returning but we will also have some new recruits, bringing with
them new ideas and positive attitudes to make everyone's
experience while staying aboard the Grace Anne II the most
memorable ever!

• We are looking forward to another year of great walleye
fishing, with the number of 25"-30" inch fish caught increasing over past few years. |
 |
• The GAII Trap range and Sporting clay course are in prime
condition, ready for the novice or the avid wing shooter. |
 |
• All those 40+ inch MUSKIE we caught and seen in '07 will have
grown a couple more inches when the season opens on June 21st. |
 |
• September brings out the leaves turning there beautiful colors
and the start of Duck hunting season, or for the experienced archer, we have some fantastic Whitetail trophy hunting. |

Captain's Message
In preparation for
2008 we are in the process of finding even more secluded
anchorages for this season. These will be new for this
year and are solely intended for the use of the Grace Anne II.
They will be just as or even better than the ones that we are
using at this time, with safety in mind as well as using the
surrounding environment to please all of our customers' , old and
new, that will be boarding the Grace Anne II this year.
As well this year we are improving our
navigation systems by introducing radar to our GPS system that
we acquired last year. This will help in navigation when there
is weather coming in that is not suitable for cruising with just
the GPS system. The safety feature will be installed in the
spring by myself and Brad, and is just another of many
improvements in safety that the Grace Anne II is updating to
meet the needs and safety of our guests. New mahogany signs will
be displayed around the boat that will direct our guests to the
areas needed in case of an emergency.
As the Captain, I am looking forward to another year where in we
will provide a service to all our costumers in a fashion that is
unique to the Grace Anne II.
Patrick Howard,
Captain

Chef's Message
What more can be expected when cruising on the Grace Anne 2 with
friends but a customized four course dinner complimented only by
a fine selection of wines the world around! I have
been working on some new recipes for the 2008 season that
promises to delight you and participate to make your experience
aboard a fantastic memory.
From the early morning Smoked Salmon and Asparagus Omelet and
fresh baked Croissants to the evening soup consisting of a
double Roasted Red and Yellow Pepper Velouté followed maybe by
an Ostrich steak, a Lobster tail or some Lamb perhaps? These
choices are yours to make, and just like reeling in a big Musky
might strain you physically, well I hope my tantalizing menus
strain you mentally.

Nicky,
Executive Chef
